Cadiz is a university city, home to the University of Cadiz (UCA), founded in 1979 and known for its medicine and marine sciences programs. Thousands of students, many from abroad, fill its Atlantic-facing streets each year, and this stretch of seawall along the bay is one of their favorite places to unwind, especially as the light turns gold and the day winds down.
