The Muralla de Cadiz, the city's historic defensive wall, traces much of the old town's coastline, its stone ramparts and watchtowers built to guard the harbor from centuries of Atlantic threats. Today the walls make for one of the city's most striking places to watch the sun go down, the fading light turning the weathered stone into pure silhouette.
