One note when a new photograph is published. No daily digest, no product blast. The location, why that hour, and the print if you want to live with it.

The tool behind it

The form on this site, and the letters that follow it, run on Kit. We picked it because it stays out of the way: a form that does not fight the layout, a list that does not live inside Instagram, and a writing window that is enough when the publishing rhythm is uneven.

Small boats sit at anchor in the calm estuary, their reflections breaking into ribbons of gold, while storm clouds pile up in the fading blue sky above the hills. Dusk is a short window — the sky still holds color, the streetlights are already on, and every passing car leaves a streak of light behind it. This shot was made in that window: a city street caught between day and night, traffic dissolving into color while the architecture holds still.
