The title plays on the English idiom "weathering the storm" — getting through hardship without lasting harm. Here it works both ways at once: a squall rolls in off the Atlantic while she waits it out on the rocks, and the shallow, dreamlike focus turns the whole frame into something closer to a diorama than a documentary shot.
